Lawrence J. Stuardi

Larry Stuardi founded Medical Realty Advisors in 1991, transforming it into what is now MRA Group—one of the mid-Atlantic region’s most respected real estate development, advisory, and property services firms. As Founding Partner, Larry has led MRA’s growth with a visionary approach to large-scale, high-impact campus redevelopment projects, particularly in the healthcare, life sciences, higher education, and technology sectors. The company’s success in the region has been built on the shoulders of Larry’s development prowess and his commitment to providing exemplary real estate services to many of the region's leading healthcare institutions and universities.
Before founding MRA, Larry got his start at Rouse & Associates, a national leader in commercial real estate development, and the launching pad for many of the region’s top industry professionals. There, he built a strong foundation in commercial real estate development and finance, and gained experience that later helped shape MRA’s culture, development philosophy, and unwavering commitment to integrity and execution. Over the years, he’s led the development of millions of square feet of commercial projects and forged key partnerships with national investors to acquire and manage value-add opportunities.
Larry is dedicated to fostering collaboration in all aspects of his life. His leadership style is inspired by one of his favorite books, “Team of Rivals” by Doris Kearns Goodwin, which emphasizes the power of bringing diverse perspectives together. When he’s not immersed in real estate, you’ll often find Larry with a history book in hand—an interest that fuels his imaginative approach to problem-solving.
Larry serves on the board of directors of several organizations. While no longer directly involved in MRA’s day-to-day operations, he remains active in the company, utilizing his over 40 years of experience to advise the team as they chart the vision for the company’s future. He also dedicates his time to non-profit philanthropic efforts through MRA’s Do Well to Do Good 501(c)3 foundation and the Kathleen and Lawrence Stuardi Family Foundation. Larry and his wife, Kathleen, live in Furlong, Pennsylvania, where they enjoy spending visits with their three adult children.
