Property Manager

Seeking a Property Manager with varied experiences to manage a portfolio of health care related real estate. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Client Relations — communicate effectively with clients, understand client requirements, respond to client requests, provide recommendations for income maximization and cost cutting (i.e., demonstrate a “value add”).

Tenant Relations — respond to tenant calls regarding the space and/or the lease, ensure rapid response to work order requests.

Operations — site inspections with documentation, supervision of maintenance & repairs, preparation of contract documents, solicit bids for services/projects as required, provide bid analysis and recommendations to client.

Financial/Accounting — financial reporting (operating summary, variance reports, etc.), direct interface with accounting department for set-up and modification of tenants/properties in property management accounting system, monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, prepare CAM reconciliations and escalations, prepare operating and capital budgets.

Successful candidate must possess the following attributes/skills:

  • Accountable, reliable, accessible.
  • Computer savvy — Microsoft Office software a must. Property Management accounting system experience preferred (Yardi, MRI, etc.).
  • General knowledge of building systems, including life safety, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, building automation systems, etc. Able to understand blueprints.
  • Knowledge/understanding of financial principles, including basic accounting (capital v. expense, general ledger, etc.) and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Top notch analytical ability & common sense.
  • Team player.

This position requires some travel throughout the region. Salary commensurate with experience. EOE
